On December 4th, Zhongcheng Qingtai Jinan Office, in collaboration with the Social and Legal Affairs Committee of the Shandong Provincial Political Consultative Conference and the Tangye Street Office, jointly held a volunteer service activity titled "Promoting the Spirit of the Constitution and Building a Law-based Community". This initiative aims to help the community spread constitutional culture and promote the spirit of the rule of law.
December 4, 2024, is the 11th Constitution Publicity Day, and December 1 to 7 is the 7th Constitution Publicity Week. According to the notice jointly issued by the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Justice, and the National Legal Publicity Office, this year's theme for the "Constitution Publicity Week" activities is "Vigorously promote the spirit of the Constitution and push for further comprehensive deepening of reforms."
In order to deeply implement the spirit of the Constitution, actively shoulder social responsibilities, fully practice the purpose of the rule of law for the people, and highlight the responsibilities of lawyers, various branches of Zhongcheng Qingtai Law Firm have carried out a variety of colorful Constitution publicity activities. Through Constitution lectures, legal education in communities and schools, and other public welfare activities, they guide citizens to strengthen their awareness of the Constitution and truly respect, learn, abide by, and use the law.
On December 4, Zhongcheng Qingtai Jinan Office, in conjunction with the Social Law Committee of the Shandong Provincial Political Consultative Conference and the Tangye Street Office, jointly held a volunteer service activity for legal publicity in the community themed "Promoting the Spirit of the Constitution and Building a Law-based Community," helping to spread constitutional culture and promote the spirit of the rule of law in the community.
Leaders attending the event included Li Changwen, a member of the Standing Committee of the Shandong Provincial Political Consultative Conference and Director of the Social Law Committee; Li E, Deputy Director of the Social Law Committee and former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Political and Legal Committee; Wang Junjie, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Tangye Street Office; Geng Guoyu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Shandong Zhongcheng Qingtai (Jinan) Law Firm; Zhang Fashui, Deputy Director of the Legal Committee of the Central Committee of the Democratic National Construction Association and Director of the Legal Committee of the Provincial Committee; and Zhao Sen, Director of the Policy and Regulation Department of the Provincial Drug Supervision Administration. A total of more than 50 people participated in this event, including members of the Social Law Committee of the Shandong Provincial Political Consultative Conference, staff from the Tangye Street Office, personnel from Zhongcheng Qingtai, media reporters from the United Daily, and residents of Tangye Street.
At the beginning of the meeting, Director Li Changwen delivered a speech, stating that the Constitution is the fundamental law of the country and the general charter for governing the country. Through this activity, it is hoped that more community residents can understand and recognize the Constitution, consciously abide by and safeguard the Constitution in their daily lives, thereby promoting the Constitution into thousands of households and deeply embedding the concept of the rule of law in people's hearts.
Zhongcheng Qingtai Senior Partner Zhou Jiaqing gave a lecture titled "Promoting the Spirit of the Constitution and Enhancing the Concept of the Rule of Law," popularizing the origin and significance of National Constitution Day, the first case of judicialization of the Constitution, the content of the Constitution, and its impact on our lives. The course content was lively, interesting, and engaging. The residents listened attentively and expressed that they benefited greatly. "We are loyal to the Constitution, uphold the authority of the Constitution, abide by its provisions, and actively practice the spirit of the Constitution..." At the end of the lecture, everyone stood up to hold a Constitution oath ceremony, further enhancing the residents' awareness of safeguarding the authority of the Constitution.
In the subsequent public welfare legal consultation, senior partner Song Huidong, partners Zhang Kai, Li Hui, and lawyers Mao Yukun and Jiao Xingjia from Zhongcheng Qingtai Jinan Office answered questions for community residents. Through their patient explanations, residents clarified their doubts and became more confident and determined to respect, learn, and use the Constitution.
Good laws and governance are what the people desire. The life of the Constitution lies in its implementation, and its authority also lies in its implementation. This activity received unanimous praise from residents and contributed wisdom and strength to enhance the legal awareness of the entire population, actively creating a good atmosphere in society for respecting, learning, abiding by, and using the law.
